Olive Bread

Ingredients

1kg flour

400ml water

100ml Sparta Groves Extra Virgin Olive Oil

*feel free to use flavored/seasoned/aromatised for extra tasting!

Mix of Kalamata & Green Olives Sliced

30gr Baker's yeast

15gr Salt

30gr Sugar

 


 

PREPARATION

1) Dissolve the yeast in water. Add sugar, salt and olive oil. Put the flour in a small bowl and make a puddle. Pour lukewarm water to dissolve all other materials.

2) Gradually begin to stir and finally knead until our dough is ready. We know it's ready when it doesn't stick to hands, there are no lumps.

3) Let the dough for half an hour to rest and rise.Then divide the dough in small round portions and lay them on a baking paper.

4) Add a few olive slices on top.

5) Add multiple layers. The amount of olive slices can be altered, it's up to your taste.

6) Add a bit of olive oil on top and let the dough rest in a warm place.

7) Bake 20 minutes at 220 degrees.
